At WashCo, we know what a nuisance it can be if your new washing machine breaks down. So as our valued WashCo customer, we would like to offer you a special two-year guarantee. This means that if the product breaks down at any time over the next two years, we'll organise a repair or replace it with a new one for free.
This is banned, since a two-year guarantee for faulty goods is not a distinctive feature. According to European law (Directive 1999/44/EC on sales and guarantees), a two-year guarantee is mandatory for faulty goods.
