Albena is Bulgarian and a computer newbie. She heard from a friend that a company based in neighbouring Romania was selling computers for less than they cost in Bulgaria. The sales rep she dealt with spoke fluent Bulgarian (a Slavic language). However, when Albena had a problem and called Babel Computer's technical hotline she discovered that they only spoke Romanian.
